John X Merriman Bordeaux
The wine itself is a Bordeaux-style blend, with all of the fruit coming from the Estate, and made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the greater of which depends on which varietal has a better showing over the other in any vintage.
This wine goes great with red meats such as beef, lamb, kudo, springbok. It also compliments stews very well.
Bloem Viognier
Chenin Blanc is one of the oldest & most widely-planted grape varieties in South Africa. We blend this fruitful wine with Viognier to add weight and earthiness. Citrus blossom and stone fruit aromas are followed by creamy peach flavours and a crisp finish.
This wine goes well with pork chops, chicken, seafood and light soups and stews.
